Course Registration
Mandatory training for all employees who drive a County, or private, vehicle on County business!
This training program was developed to complement the county's overall accident prevention program. Employees whose duties include driving a County or private vehicle on County business shall be scheduled to attend within six months of hire date. The duration of the course is approximately 3 hours and class size is limited to 30 students.
Program Objectives
- Develop traffic awareness among drivers of County vehicles
- Provide students with information on reaction and braking distance
- Stress the prevention of accidents/injuries and property damage to reduce operational costs
- Inform students on how distractions affect our driving
- Increase awareness of the hazards we experience on the road every day

Please use the Course Registration form (above) to schedule classes - include your Dept. name, phone/employee/ stop #'s for certificate mailing. Please be advised, there will be NO ADMITTANCE if more than 20 minutes late!
Failure to attend, send replacement, or give 48 hr notice will result in your Dept. being charged a $25 NO-SHOW fee.
