Course Registration

MANDATORY TRAINING FOR ALL RIVERSIDE COUNTY EMPLOYEES


On July 3, 1997 , the California Division of Occupational Safety & Health Standards Board adopted the Repetitive Motion Injuries Standard, also known as Ergonomics, Title 8:General Industry Safety Orders, Article 106, Section 5110.

The scope and application of this standard must apply to a job, process or operation where repetitive motion injuries (RMI's) have occurred to employees.

This course will include an explanation of the consequences of injuries caused by repetitive motion and the importance of reporting symptoms and injuries to your employer. The class will utilize the ErgoSafe Survey Method of abating causes of injury, including the Principles of Survey, Analyze, Focus and Eliminate. It will provide employees with the knowledge needed to minimize work place injuries.

Please use the Course Registration form (above) to schedule classes - include your Dept. name, phone/employee/ stop #'s for certificate mailing. Please be advised, there will be NO ADMITTANCE if more than 20 minutes late!

Failure to attend, send replacement, or give 48 hr notice will result in your Dept. being charged a $25 NO-SHOW fee.
